Danburg Properties of Boca Raton Helpful Hurricane Links

Written on July 13, 2013 at 7:00 pm

wilmaLGHurricane and tropical storm hazards can come in many forms. Whether you have a waterfront home in east Boca Raton or manage a corporate office, warehouse, commercial space or other business location to the west, threats abound. These include storm surge, heavy rainfall, inland flooding, high winds, tornadoes and rip currents.

The National Weather Service is responsible for helping protect life and property through issuance of timely watches and warnings. But it is essential that you be ready before a storm approaches.

At Danburg Properties of Boca Raton, we are providing some links and forms that will help our tenants and Boca Raton residents prepare in the event of a storm. We also want to be sure the information in our files is up to date.

Please download our Tenant Emergency Contact Form and return it to the Building Management office via email to renee@danburg.com or via facsimile (561) 997-9577, as soon as possible.

The follow are some helpful links:

Federal Emergency Management Agency:  www.ready.gov

American Red Cross:  www.redcross.org

Download the  Tropical Cyclone Preparedness Guide (PDF) or follow the links for more information. But remember, this is only a guide. The first and most important thing anyone should do when facing a hurricane threat is to use common sense.

Most importantly, be safe out there. Minimize unnecessary exposures to dangerous situations and do what is necessary to ensure the safety of your family, pets, homes, businesses and belongings.
