MedUTech: Promoting Business in Boca

Danburg Management is proud to be a sponsor of MedUTech 2011. The second annual MedUTech Forum takes place Tuesday, November 8, 2011 from 8:30am-12:00pm at the Boca Raton Resort & Club. ‘ MedUTech is a public-private initiative to attract new business to Boca Raton, focusing on Medical Science, Technology and Education. The MedUTech clusters “create high paying jobs, attract quality clients, and set a strong foundation for the future of our city and the greater South Florida Region 

Our partners in MedUTech include The South Florida Business Journal, PNC Bank, Flagler Development, the Gunster Law Firm, Kaufman Lynn, The Allianz Championship, Lynn University, The Broken Sound Club, Schmidt Companies, Workforce Alliance,  Florida Atlantic University Research Park, the Greater Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce, 3Cinteractive, Boca Raton Regional Hospital, The Business Development Board of Palm Beach County.   We all share a strong belief that Boca Raton is a great place to live and a great place to grow a business. By attracting these targeted sectors to our community, we believe that all of our businesses will benefit for years to come. 

The program for next Tuesday’s event includes networking, a update on results since last year’s Forum, and a  panel discussion including industry leaders from FAU, Boca Raton Regional Hospital and will be moderated by Pete Martinez.

Following the panel discussion, keynote speaker, Sean Hogan, VP Healthcare & Life Sciences Global, IBM will present Watson and the future of Healthcare. Watson , IBM’s natural language processing computer is best known for winning Jeopardy, but it has far reaching applications in medicine. Attendees will have a chance to meet both Hogan and Watson.

Danburg Management’s “Test the Waters” MedUTech ad will appear in a special advertising section that will promote Boca Raton in Business Journal affiliate papers across the U.S.
